South African textile designer  Ronel Jordaan, has been designing for the last  26 years, the designer uses a variety of materials  as her creative medium especially felt looking at diverse possibilities and felt as a creative medium. Jordaan is an entirely self-taught designer and follows her own creative instincts, she  also uses fine gossamer thread into robust felted forms.

Jordaan credits her craft to the small home industry she founded  where she trained a handful of women to help her craft . Renowned for their originality and design uniqueness, her creations found an immediate market. Consistent with being inspired by nature, the Ronel Jordaan™ label is equally harmonious with nature; processes implemented in the workshop are all ecofriendly. Beautiful textures created, materiality and texture are renowned of the continent and there are diverse materials and mediums being used.
