Vlisco launches ‘Delicate Shades’

Renowned Dutch wax print Vlisco has launched its latest collection with the help of renowned fashion illustrator Sabine Pieper with a more artistic approach to its campaign.

Vlisco introduces its new ‘Delicate Shades’ collection, in which technique plays a more important role than ever before. The collection is made up of a fabric, fashion, bag & accessory line and is currently available from the  1st of  November in Africa and on the Vlisco website.

The collection was inspired by  the perfect imperfection that underlines Vlisco’s craftsmanship. Its unique printing technique was taken to the next level for the collection, turning inspiration into reality. This created two different designs on one fabric created from a single pattern design.

The fashion and accessories collection was inspired by the optical illusion created by the distinctive look of the fabric. The outfits and bags are fresh in their design and strong in their simplicity.

The Luxury Editions are a combination of fabrics embellished with exclusive details of the Delicate Shades designs. Sophisticated embroidery, shimmering sequins and sparkling Swarovski crystals give the fabric a luxurious and feminine twist. Adding Luxury Editions to an outfit creates a completely new look.

I personally believe this is Vlisco most successful campaign to date. Its is contemporary without loosing the essence of the fabrics they promote, stylish, fashion forward and i can see this gracing the pages of mainstream art and design magazines around the world.
